Law Unto Yourself training is a division of CPD Training (UK) Limited.

Our educational philosophy is simple: learning should concentrate on the participant and not upon the teacher. Traditional training has been saturated with lectures and demonstrations. Lawyers are busy people who have been trained to see a point quickly. They are not happy to sit and listen to someone speaking to them for long periods of time. They want practical and up-to-date courses which are injected with realism and pace.

Therefore, all of CPD Training's courses, including the courses you will find on this website, adhere to a similar theme. Each course, in controlled conditions, allows delegates to come to their own conclusions. They are then able to consider how to apply the skills they have learned to everyday practice.

Our E Learning course designers have extensive experience both as practitioners and as legal trainers.

We have joined forces with the leading e-learning company Integrum which has provided the latest technology and software to present the traininng.

The team is led by Peter Lyons.

For many years now Peter has been designing and teaching courses in advocacy, dispute resolution and law firm management for many of the top City and national law firms in the UK. He has written and delivered major programmes for the Bar Council of England & Wales, the Financial Services Authority and the Hong Kong and Singapore Law Societies. He designed the Public Access course for the Bar Council and the very successful Higher Rights programme and Diploma in Advocacy for the College of Law. He has taught in France, Spain, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and the USA.

CPD Training (UK) is accredited by the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority.
